Hey Chickadees....

I was finally able to volunteer on one of Tessa's fieldtrips.  For her fieldtrip we went to Red Butte Gardens. It was a nice spring day and the flowers were in full bloom.

 Each group had a bird name. We were the Chickadees. When the guide wanted our attention she would say "Hey Chickadees...." and we would respond with "Hey Janelle (the guide's name)!"

 The kids learned all about the parts of a plant and seed travel.  Our favorite part was the edible garden with parts of plants you could eat. We also loved this little shrub that when you rubbed your hand on it made your hand smell like bubblegum :)
