Miscellaneous and a Meltdown

Just a few random pictures:
Kylie's activity days class did an ancestor activity. Kylie dressed like an ancestor and read from part of her journal. And since she was an excellent pie maker we brought an apple pie to share.

And two sisters who have their own beds but still like sleeping together.  One sleeps in the same position and the other is all over the place :)

Choir Concert

We were excited for another great Spring Choir Concert. The choir under the direction of Mr. and Mrs. Murphy, again, didn't disappoint!  They even sung my favorite Homeward Bound!

Backyard Continued

So it took multiple loads up to the trailer and Kody smashing them down to get them all out of the yard.  We took 4 trips to the dumps, one even in the rain.

Then there were stumps to grind. Instead of renting a stump grinder we decided to purchase one off KSL....best decision ever!  It took us a while and during every step we would find another stump and need our grinder there on hand. It really did the job!

Oh and all that wood...had to be stacked.  It was a big project!

From One Big Project to Another

We got the basement done in March and after having a few weekends to ourselves we thought we were getting entirely too lazy and we should make the forest that is our backyard into a real functioning backyard.
I think we kind of underestimated how many trees and branches that would be.  There was a lot of wenching trees so Kody could cut them. Then we had to make a pile for the wood and the branches.

Good thing we had a few helpers ;)

Cabin Weekend Fun

Six years ago when the boys started building the cabin I hoped it would bring our family lots of great times and good memories!  And it hasn't disappointed.

This time we stopped at a very cool park in Logan on the way home.
