Every Year...

September is one of my favorite times to head to up to Bear Lake and go four wheeling.  The weather is prefect and the trails aren't too wet or too dry.
We like riding up to the flatt and stopping for some snacks...
 and drinks.
 We love the the view...
and how it distracts our older sister
from noticing that her little sister has highjacked her 4 wheeler!

Last First Day!

This little girl has been going to mom's preschool since she was a baby.  Even when she was two she would sit at the table and try to draw and write. Well September 3, 2013 was officially her last First Day of Preschool

Isn't she so cute?!

I am so glad I have one more year with this girl!
Getting up before 8:00 was a little bit of a shock on her system.  Her sisters got home from school and went upstairs. I asked where Mallory was and they said she was asleep in her bed.  It was her first nap in 2 1/2 years...we work her hard at preschool :)

Mallory has amazing drawing, coloring and painting skills...take a look at her latest masterpieces!

Gymnastics

The girls did 8 weeks of gymnastics at Flips over the summer and loved it!

End of Summer Sleepover

The girls were excited when Grandma invited them over for an "end of summer" sleepover the last weekend before school started.
The cousins stayed over too and there was lots of cooking, movie, watching and treats :)
And as always Aly is there to help with the fun!  We love our Grandmas and Aunts!

First Day....Hooray!

The girls were so excited for school to start!  They both were assigned fabulous veteran teachers this year!

Kylie is in 4th grade with Mrs. Clark
Tessa is in 1st grade with Mrs. Brown.
And they looked just as cute the and day....I just love new school clothes :)

The boys are very outnumbered at the bus stop.
And these are my cute "errand buddies."
Even though she is ready for kindergarten, I am glad to have my sweet, helpful Mallory home with me for one more year.

La La Loopsy Ice Cream Party

For Tessa's friend Birthday we decided on a La La Loopsy Ice Cream Party!  We had all her friends meet us at the Orange Leaf Frozen Yogurt place by our house.

The girls started the party by making a La La Loopsy of their own.  They chose fabric dresses and then decorated them with buttons, jewels, and markers.  We even put curly pipe cleaner hair on some.

Then we went out in the main restaurant and the kids got their yogurt cups.  They were allowed to put as much frozen yogurt and toppings in them as they liked.  I had envisioned an orderly system where I tell them all the yogurt flavors and help them each fill their cups...instead they each took their cups and were filling them up themselves.  Some barely had room for toppings, others left plenty of room for plenty of toppings...we definitely got out money's worth :)

The girls ate their ice cream and watched a La La Loopsy movie on the big screen,

Then it was time to open presents.

Then it was time for cake!

After cake we played La La Memory, and don't eat La La Loopsy, before letting the girls pile up the bean bags and jump on each other.

At home Kylie opened family presents. I love her expressions...she was super excited!

we love this girl and hope she had a wonderful birthday!
