Easter

We had such a fun easter weekend.  Our sweet neighbors the Puglesy's gave us this beautiful Easter Cake..and it tasted as good as it looks!

 We headed up to the cabin on Friday and right as we arrived there was a mini thunderstorm followed by this beautiful rainbow...I don't think I have seen one from end to end in a long time.

 

We did some hot tubbing and then made these delicous bird's nests out or pretzels and chocolate.

 Saturday, we died eggs, went on a ride, and watched a movie before leaving the

 









We were not disappointed.  Our baskets were overflowing and there were tons of eggs to be found!

 We loved our new goggles...

and sunglasses!

After the cabin we headed down and went to church with grandma and grandpa.  In all the fun we didn't get a great picture of all of use together in our Easter Best.

 

 We had a delicious ham dinner and then the boys played hacky sack with a large red exercise ball

 While the kids did a really cute hunt for symbols of Easter and Christ's crucifixion and resurrection.

 There was an egg hunt, a pinata, and even our traditional "It's Easter No Stopping" game.

We got home late so it was the next day before we opened our package from Grandma and Grandpa Nelson.  It was filled with games, treats, prizes, and lots of love!
