Do You Know Art?

Well I do....and I must say that I love kid art!  My favorite impressionist is a local artist, Tessa Nelson

Her Rapunzel is simply beautiful.

Her Jesus is so special.

Her Subway Surfer girl and money are so true to form

There is always a story behind her work.  Like this one...

Me:"Why is the little girl sad on her birthday?"

Tessa:"Because there's a bomb in her cake."

(She may be a writer for the tv show 24 someday ;)  )

She does at times give her art as gifts to family and friends like these nail polish, perfume, and makeup pieces.

She does holiday pieces...

as well as wildlife.

Her love life is also one of the subject matter she throws herself into...

I wonder if Max knows he is often a subject of her art?

We love this little artist and hope she never stops drawing :)
