Now That's a Float!

We had to travel to the south end of the valley and decided on the way back we would get little lunch and attend the Days of '47 Float Preview Party. 

We celebrate the 24th of July in Ogden with my family so we've never seen the Salt Lake Parade. It was so fun to see all the floats...they were AMAZING!

Most of the floats also had activities that correlated with the float for the kids to do.

My favorite float had traings that moved. On one side the frontrunner and the other side the Baumgardner trolley.  The float was representing the past and the future.  The cool thing is that Great Grandma Nelson rode the Baumgardner and my girls have rode the frontrunner...our own connection of past to future!
