A Whole Lot of JUNE

Ward Carnival: Okay so technically this event was the first day of July. The Young Women did all the planning and preparation and it turned out GREAT! There was face painting, , fish pond, balloon darts, water balloon toss, popcorn, snow cones, and cotton candy!




There was also "Chicken Chasing!" You basically put a chicken in an outfield...


Then line children up about 20 feet away and then let 'em go and try and catch the chicken...fun for both the kids and the parents watching!

Finally, there was a pie eating contest that got VERY MESSY!Swimming Lessons: We finished up swim lessons this month. Tessa loved her teacher and on the last day she even put her face in the water.
Kylie is doing awesome. She has a great backstroke and can float like a champ!







Lagoon:We finally decided to get season passes to Lagoon and boy have we put them to good use. We went three times the first week and four times since...we have even splash around at Lagoona Beach and in the splash pad.
