We Get Around

We love to pack a lunch and head up the Temple Flat road when we are in Bear Lake.  The weather was nice but there was still snow on the ground.

The meadow is always beautiful and green!

We couldn't believe the size of these logs and needed Dad to stand by them to get the full perspective!

Ice Cream and Cereal

There are two things Baylor loves Ice Cream (Ice coom) and CEreal (Cee-oh).  The first I am happy to oblige.

He gets messy but we still love him anyways.

The second I don't mind either, but we have had to stop buying Lucky Charms...too many bowls of just cereal with no marshmallows ;)

St. George

We loved spending Spring Break in St. George!  The weather was so nice. We did some hiking...lots of eating and swimming in the pool!

Blurry

We went out to eat for my mom's birthday and wanted a picture to document the occasion. This is what you get when you let two five year olds take the picture....we couldn't stop laughing!

Obsessed with ChIcKs!!!

The best kinds of pets are those that your neighbors have :)  The Oscarson's got chicks and Tessa and Mallory have loved watching and holding the little fluff balls.

Tessa asked if I could make her some pretend chicks and I did my best.  Good thing I always have pom poms, feathers, and googly eyes on hand.  She did a great job making them a pen and feeder.
These chicks are a lot easier to clean up after!

Amelia Earhart

A couple years ago Kylie became obsessed with Amelia Earhart.  She read a book detailing her life and was hooked.  So when it was time for her 5th grade Famous American Report came around she really hoped she could be Amelia.  We were out of town on the day they chose their people but lucky for us Amelia was still left.
We worked on her detailed report, speech, poster and wardrobe over a month or two.  We watched a movie about her life and looked up lots of websites.
One of the requirements for the presentation was a creative button to push for the famous americans to come to life and give their speech. I was happy to hand that over to dad who made an app that made an airplane sound when you pushed it.

Parents, visitors, and some of the other grades were invited to come find out about these famous Americans!  Kylie got a little nervous, but I had heard her speech many times and was so proud of her hard work!
Kylie says some day she would love to solve the mystery of Amelia Earhart's disappearance :)

After that exhausting day she invited a few friends over for a movie night!
