HoLiDaY!

We weren't going to wait until Monday to start our 4th of July celebrations. The girls and I headed to the Rec Center for some swimming!

Tessa bravely kept going under the water (with or without her nose and mouth closed :))
Kylie spent the entire 2 hours diving for her diving sticks! I was worried she was going to have permanent goggle eyes!

In the evening Kody joined us at the Kaysville Theater to see Rio!

We love the holidays!

TWO!

Our sweet Mallory turned two on June 25th! Her favorite show is Sesame Street so we decided to have a small Elmo birthday.
There were balloons....

Elmo Cupcakes...And presents!
She loved her new hat, sunglasses, water toys, outfits, talking teapot...

and her new princess nightgown! She is still working on getting fingers to cooperate in getting two fingers up! :)
We love our little girl who is still in the 10th percentile for weight at 23 lbs and in the 75th percentile for height.
She loves watermelon, grapes, strawberries, pickles, and cereal!
She has to have mom read her a book before sleeping with her favorite blankets! She is quite the little talker and can also walk on her toes and heels...we may have a little dancer on our hands!
She has one dimple on her right cheek and is finally getting a little more hair which is a pretty carmel color!

A Whole Lot of JUNE

Ward Carnival: Okay so technically this event was the first day of July. The Young Women did all the planning and preparation and it turned out GREAT! There was face painting, , fish pond, balloon darts, water balloon toss, popcorn, snow cones, and cotton candy!

There was also "Chicken Chasing!" You basically put a chicken in an outfield...

Then line children up about 20 feet away and then let 'em go and try and catch the chicken...fun for both the kids and the parents watching!

Finally, there was a pie eating contest that got VERY MESSY!Swimming Lessons: We finished up swim lessons this month. Tessa loved her teacher and on the last day she even put her face in the water.
Kylie is doing awesome. She has a great backstroke and can float like a champ!

Lagoon:We finally decided to get season passes to Lagoon and boy have we put them to good use. We went three times the first week and four times since...we have even splash around at Lagoona Beach and in the splash pad.
