Three years ago Kody and I had our 10 year anniversary. To celebrate we took our first vacation together. Before then we had only taken trips with our kids. We went to Hawaii and LOVED it so much we decided that we should try to take a kid trip one year and then an adult trip the next so we could get away together at least every two years. Having Baylor and getting into our new house threw a little kink in the plan but three years after our 1st trip we went on our 2nd. We had some sky miles so we decided on an Eastern Carribean cruise out of Miami.
We spent the first day at sea but the next day we stopped at Half Moon Cay and took the tenders (smaller boats) out to the island.
Half Moon Cay has BEAUTIFUL BEACHES and Kody and I were happy to get on our snorkel gear and enjoy the crystal clear water.
Snorkel gear is sooooo flattering ;) We saw a sea turtle and it made our day!
We enjoyed the lunch buffet on the beach and we got in line back to the boat just before the clouds rolled in and the downpour began.
