Baby You're a Firework
So our 4th of July fun actually started on the 3rd...you know 4th of July EVE.
We had my sister Amy and her husband Jake, and our friends the Caters over for a little BBQ before watching the awesome EagleRidge Fireworks from our deck.
Then Kody slept out on the deck with the girls.
They did really well
until it started to thunder, lightning, and rain. They all ended back
in our room for an "inside" sleepover.
On the 4th we dressed in our most patriotic attire,
did some swimming at Cherry Hill, and grabbed a quick bite to eat before heading to the Motor Vu Drive In.
It was the kids first drive in (and Kody's as well). We watched Despicable Me 2 and Monster's University...and a few of the Riverdale Fireworks!
Kylie and Mallory stayed up for both movies (Tessa only made it half way through the 2nd movie)...not too shabby considering we got home at 2:00 am :)
