The footings were about a foot off and so the deck was sagging and there was no moisture barrier under the tiles so they started coming up and some of the main posts were rotting. So we decided this would be a good summer weekend project.
We underestimated the demolition process and the time to let the new footings cure so it was about a 4 weekend project but in the end we were very pleased with the final product.
The trex should last a long time and the stain turned out great!
We liked the stain so much that we redid the our little bridge as well!
