There was NO SCHOOL on Monday. With temperatures in the high 50's we decided it would be the prefect day to visit the zoo.
First we saw the elephants.
The big fake one and the "real" ones. Recently one of the Mommy Elephants had a baby girl elephant named Zuki. We watched her feed and then sleep...just like our baby! Zuki weighed 251 lbs at birth. So glad I didn't carry THAT baby!
Next were the giraffes...yet another baby! Do all babies in human and animal form look adorable?
YES! Just take a look at my little monkey!
The day was perfect. Most of the animals were out and active and with few visitors we were able to get pictures taken at some of our favorite spots!
My girls are really growing up...roughly the size of juvenile chimps!
We loved the carousel and the train!
And we could hardly tear ourselves away from the play land!
It was a GREAT Day!

Don't you just love days like that? It's so fun to just hang out with your kids on beautiful days, and watch them be happy.
