Soooooo.....after 3 girls and 10 years of preschool we finally had our first case of hand, foot, mouth. And it was not pretty. We were so glad it wasn't in his throat or on his little bottom. He never had a runny nose or fever and was a happy guy but his poor face looked awful...for four weeks!

JAZZED
Dad got a discount on Jazz tickets through work and we were excited to take the girls and Kyile's friend Elena. We had great seats but sadly our streak of only seeing games where the Jazz loose continues :)

After Christmas
We had a relaxing time after Christmas!
We all made it to midnight to ring in the New Year!
We had fun modeling the Christmas Tree skirt before it was put away in the box.
Going through our "sparkle box" and looking at all the good deeds we had done over the holiday season.
And looking at the lights at Temple Square.

FREEEEEEZING
We opened our presents from Grandma and Grandpa Nelson. We loved the coats, hats, mugs and hot cocoa.
They were perfect for our trip up to the cabin between Christmas and New Years. The high temperature barely hit double digits and we started our "vacation" by removing the thick ice that had formed on the hot tub so we could lift the cover and make sure nothing was freezing.
The whole time I had the beginning song from Frozen in my mind...the one where they are cutting through the ice.
The first night we found that Baylor had made himself a nice bed in the closet.
We did some sledding but man was it cold!!!!
Baylor and Dad warmed up as they plowed the parking area.
The next day was even colder but we couldn't waste our chance to go snowmobiling. Mal and Ky stayed at the cabin while Bay and Tessa came with us :)

Christmas 2015
Christmas is one of my favorite times of year. This year I really wanted to simplify and focus on the meaning of Christmas. So instead of our little advent house holding treats it had slips of paper with kind acts. It melted my heart to see these gift from the girls to one another. A knitted Barbie skirt form Tessa and Mallory giving her tin of little princess dolls to Tessa.
A Thankyou letter to Santa from Mall...love her teacher!
We even had a white Christmas with snow falling on Christmas Eve :)
We didn't have a whole lot of ideas for Kylie this year and she is such a good girl and always tells us she doesn't need anything (no, she doesn't have everything already...she is just a self-less girl) so we surprised her with the phone she thought she wouldn't get until Jr. High.
