Christmas Eve Fun

We love our tradition of spending Christmas Eve with Grandma and Grandpa. We go bowling during the day. Then it's back to grandma's house for a present passing game. Then grandma and grandpa give the kids their gifts. Grandpa gave each grandkid a bag of gems he collected as he traveled around the state with his work. Grandma sewed all the parents and grandkids big warm fleece blankets with fabrics that matched their personalities. We love spending time with them!

SnOw DaY!!!!

What do you do when the Winter's got you down and you get 15" in one day and the roads aren't plowed? You have a SnOw DaY!!!!

With Sledding
Hot Chocolate
Holiday Movies

and Popcorn!
Unless you're Dad. Then you snowblow, snowblow, snowblow!

And sometimes you take a picture to let your teacher know you aren't having "too much fun!"

How we LOVE the snow...until about March, then Spring can't come soon enough.

First Orchestra Concert

Since Kylie is in 6th grade she was finally able to take orchestra.  She decided to pick the Viola for her instrument.  And in December she had her first Orchestra concert. Sadly I wasn't able to go but Dad did a good job listening and taking pictures. We are so proud of Kylie!

Festival of Trees

For many, many years I have wanted to take the girls to The Festival of Trees and this year Kody indulged me.
We love that the trees have a story behind them and that all proceeds go to support Primary Children's Medical Center.
We LOVED:  the fairy house
the Brave set up
the Tangled tree
The wolf tree
The Elf tree and display

The Mickey and Minnie trees
The Sound of Music tree
The Wicked tree
and the Monsters Inc. tree.

So many trees, displays, and gingerbread houses...so little time!
