Baylor's 1 Year Stats

Our cute Baylor turned 1 in June.He is 18lbs 10 oz ( under 5th percentile for weight) and 30 1/2" long (70th percentile for height).  He finally popped in his top 2 and bottom 2 teeth and decided he no longer likes baby food.
He does a mean army crawl and you should see how fast he moves toward something when you tell him "no!" :)
He loves cords, hangers, and anything with moving parts.
He does great during the night sleeping for 12 hours and even takes a 2hour nap during the day.  He doesn't have any real words yet but makes his wants known with growls and grunts.
We love his cheesey smile and his even temperment....seriously he hardly ever cries!
He puts up with the errand running and sisters who love on him a little too rough. What would we do without this sweet boy in our family?

Kylie turns 9!

Kylie turned 9 on August 17th!  I can't believe how beautiful she is, from the inside out. She really tries her very best to make good decisions and if she ever makes a mistake she will admit it and apologize.  She is my best helper around the house and I don't know what I would do without her!
She likes playing tennis, reading, swimming, hanging out with friends, watching movies, and playing minecraft.  She is VERY creative and loves to draw and make up stories!  We are so glad she is in our family!

Fun, Fun, Fun!

We love Handcart Days at the Bountiful Park! We plan on it every summer!  This year the girl earned their own money and I let them spend it on whatever activities, rides, games, or food they chose...even if they spent $4 on face painting.

It did turn out so cute and they were happy girls.

We loved the snow cones, creamies, Brigham Fry Bread, nachos, etc. , etc.

The rides were so much fun!

And my neice Taylee won a drawing and was awarded a $25 gift card to kneaders, passes to the SD Rec Center, and a water filter bottle.

We had planned on going swimming but since most of the girls had their faces painted we decided to head on down to the South Towne Expo Center to the Days of '47 Parade Float Preview Party.
The floats are AWESOME! May of them took months to create and have lots of intricate details!
A lot of the floats also had games, prizes, and other fun items for the kids to try!

What a fun day with "the cousins!"

Rodeo

I was so excited to take the kids to their first Rodeo this year.  As a child I always went to the Ogden Pioneer Days Rodeo and one year I even worked at the rodeo...but that's another post.
We got dressed in braids and cowgirl/cowboy hats and headed to Ogden.

Baylor actually stayed with my mom but doesn't he look cute as a cowboy?

It was a really hot day but we all had a lot of fun!

Tennis Anyone?

This summer we signed Kylie up for a tennis class through South Davis Recreation.  Her best friend Alexis signed up as well and they had lessons for two weeks over at North Canyon Park.

They liked it so well we signed them up for another session!
They sweated their guts out, picked up some new skills, and got some sweet tans.

We even had a few play dates hang outs after tennis.  One time I looked up and these two "Ombres" had snuck up on me....such silly girls :)
